EV Charging Hardware is just the Beginning.

EV charging stations can deliver a lot more than just power - they offer an array of different data and management tools, allowing your stations to work harder and more effectively for you and your drivers.

Every EV charging installation fills a different need - understanding how your station is used, how often and by whom allows your to better meet your drivers’ needs. Additionally, it allows you better control your station and its potential, and grow as demand for charging increases.

There are a number of different software solutions available depending on the hardware you chose and your specific use case.

Rev Up Your EV: NEVI's First Funded Charging Stations are Now LIVE!

All eyes were on Maui, where the Joint Office of Energy and Transportation announced the opening of the first electric vehicle charging stations in Hawai’i funded by the National Electric Vehicle Infrastructure (NEVI) Formula Program. Today’s blessing and dedication of these landmark stations represented a crucial milestone in the NEVI program, transportation electrification and Hawaiʻi's journey towards a sustainable future. The Kahului Park and Ride on Kuihelani Highway now boasts four 150-kilowatt Tritium DC fast chargers, the fastest units in the state open to all EVs.

U.S. Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg expressed tremendous pride in the opening of the first federally funded EV charging stations in the State of Hawai‘i. This move is in line with President Biden's vision to establish a nationwide network of EV chargers, ensuring all Americans benefit from the transition to clean energy …

Aloha Charge Provided All the Tritium DC Fast Chargers for First Phase of Hawai’i NEVI Program.

With their initial round of NEVI funding, HDOT procured eight Tritium NEVI systems comprising of 32 PKM150 (150kW) chargers and 16 power units. Aloha Charge, a subsidiary of National Car Charging, provided these chargers, which will all be integrated with EV Connect's management software.

These chargers, the first of which opened in February, were the first NEVI stations funded under the Biden-Harris NEVI program and marks a significant milestone for e-mobility in Hawai’i.

To celebrate this huge milestone, executives from Tritium, Sustainability Partners, National Car Charging, and officials from the White House, Joint Office of Energy and Transportation, and HDOT, held a virtual roundtable in July 2023 focusing on how partnerships such as these are critical to helping the U.S. in achieving a sustainable future.
