The Aloha Charge Mission.

Make it easy.

The transition to electric vehicles should be easy to implement and fun.

Something that’s good for the environment shouldn’t be hard. So, we set out to make the transition to electric vehicles as simple and seamless for both drivers and station owners. Anything new can be challenging, but at Aloha Charge, we’ve done all the homework so you don’t have to.

Do it well.

With climate change increasingly impacting our daily lives, it is critical we move fast, so we’ve invested the time and done all the heavy lifting so you don’t have to.

Aloha Charge is committed to bringing only the best EV charging options to Hawai’i and delivering them with top notch service. We partner only with top manufacturers — best positioned to succeed and go the distance. And we offer a selection of products with a wide range of features and prices.

Focus 100% on Hawai’i.

Hawai’i is our top priority - because it's our home too.  And we want to protect it’s natural beauty well into the future.

We have high focus on our state’s environmental well-being and work extremely close with our local utilities and numerous local sustainability organizations. We’re also actively involved with the City and County of Honolulu and the state legislator, as sustainability legislation continues to evolve.

Our history.

Aloha Charge is Hawai’i’s only in-state EV charging provider.

Aloha Charge opened in 2012 and is the brainchild of Jim Burness, a leading Electric Vehicle advocate and Charging expert. Jim’s goal was simple — to promote and streamline the expansion of Hawai'i's electric vehicle charging network.

Today and hundreds of installs later, Aloha Charge is the only and leading reseller and installer in the state — providing hardware, software, and planning expertise across a wide variety of business channels, including hospitality, municipal facilities, and multi-family dwellings.

Headquartered in Honolulu, the Aloha Charge team is actively involved in many of Hawai’i’s sustainability initiatives — both locally and at state-level. They have fostered strong relationships with numerous environmentally-focused organizations, including Hawai’i Energy and the Ulupono Initiative, and they work closely with all the local utilities.

Aloha Charge is a wholly-owned subsidiary of National Car Charging (NCC). Being part of the NCC family allows the Aloha Charge team to uniquely serve Hawai’i. With local offices and a Hawaiian-born team, Aloha Charge provides dedicated, on-island resources, giving state the focus it deserves while also benefiting from the buying power and experience of NCC. NCC has installed over 11,000+ ports across 48 states, 1100+ clients and dozens of business channels.
